Designing visual concepts for westelm.com that enhance customer shopping, search and interactive experiences. Working with various managers, graphic designers and developers, I extend wireframes and brand visuals to create web page and iPad mockups, user interface components, user experience explorations and email & banner ads.

Designed and developed a social media promotional website for @PreschoolGem’s twitter feed. I created a visual direction for Preschool Gems and built a custom theme and homepage which rotates the latest tweets and allowed visitors to share via Facebook, Twitter and Google+.

I created visual designs and HTML/CSS templates for Sing for Hope’s WordPress based Pop-Up Pianos website. I based the template layout and direction on predefined wire frames and Sing for Hope’s functional requirements. The website utilized the Google Maps API and various social media sharing tools.

I worked with Cloudred in creating visual designs and executing functional page templates in HTML and CSS for their Cites of Service project. Cities of Service is a network that facilitates volunteer opportunities between participating cities, organizations and community members. Learn more about it here.
I also created an accompanying WordPress based tutorial website for admin users that participate in the service.

This is a redesign of Smack Mellon’s website. Along with introducing a more contemporary design and layout, I implemented Smack Mellon’s archive of work into Concrete5′s CMS framework, allowing easy content updates and dynamic page creation for users with little to no web editing experience.
I created a custom theme that is clean, minimal and is flexible to showcase the various works and events that have graced the gallery throughout the years. The theme also takes advantage of jQuery animations and interactivity.

Worked within the Internet Marketing Group, creating a variety of graphics based web projects across 3 internal lines of businesses. Responsibilities included Flash banner creation, multilingual email & web banner production, rebrand implementation, typesetting, HTML editing and graphical support for new product launches.
Art Direction / Visual Design / Visual UI /
Created the visual layout and art direction for a web based check-in/check-out delivery application for Shortpath. The system allows users to network and create unique profiles, groups and relations needed to facilitate building deliveries. Design had to be clean, understandable and above all be utilitarian.
